Has Home Changed It's Meaning?

Has Home Changed Its Meaning?

Often life comes fraught with stress, burdens, anger, and frustrations, a home eases the weight and has been called more than the structure one lives in time again and time again. The value of the home should never be overlooked in relationships.

#ConciousCoupling is about making informed choices to place love at the epicenter of wholeness. It is a conscious decision to complete the work necessary to live as a whole person. Why not include as part of this choice making your home a haven from the complexities of modern life?

The Role of Home in Relationships

When a relationship where two people live together begins to break apart so does the notion that the home is a sacred place to escape from the pressures of the outside world. Instead of turning to our home to nurture and fill us we find reasons to avoid being in our space. Our home turns from a haven to a battle ground. We find excuses to work late, or take the long way home, we find ourselves dreading the time we are there.

#ConciousCoupling includes making the home safe and loving for not only the couple but also children. A home that has become a battleground can be reclaimed.

Reclaiming the Home

If you and your significant other are committed to working together and working on improving the relationship, the home can be an easy place to start.

Altering the physical space can be the first step to creating new memories. A couple can make a conscious choice to as a team to update, redecorate, or otherwise the change their physical space. Changing the space can allow the tangible transformation from battleground back to a safe place.

Often as the home changes from home to a place where one lives eating meals together changes from something enjoyed to something barely acknowledged. In a busy household, it may not always be feasible to share every dinner together. Sharing a Sunday brunch at home could be a way to begin to bring back shared meals.

Through creation of positive memory, the house can turn back into a home. A safe place to grow and nourish the family is an essential component to #ConciousCoupling.

CONSCIOUS COUPLING

Conscious Coupling is about helping people become aware of their differences by using "Root Cause Analysis".  Dana and Don have seen many cases and have determined and proved why people fall and slip onto the path of divorce.  Conscious Coupling averts the disaster before it's too late.
